
There are a lot of people that make drinking glasses from wine bottles. What sets Wine Punts apart from the rest are the processes we have in place in our production.
Wine Punts

Fire polished rim – When fire polished, each glass will have a smooth finish that is consistent with the rest of the glass. This process also prevents cracking and chipping from normal use.
Annealed - When glass is annealed, it is slowly cooled to relieve any internal stresses. This process will increase the durability to withstand even the harshest industrial use.
Others

Sanded or Beveled Rim - When sanded the rim will not have the same finish as rest of the glass. These processes are also prone to having small chips that may go unseen and be unsafe.
Not Annealed - When not annealed, glass is more likely to crack when exposed to temperature changes. Glasses that are not annealed may not be microwaveable or dishwasher safe.
